Join us at this free public open day to learn about the award winning restoration of the stunning Astley Castle in Warwickshire.
The ancient moated site of Astley Castle holds unequivocally modern living accommodation clasped within the shell of the Castle. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the huge living room and kitchen look out over Astley’s former collegiate church and into beautiful internal courts formed by ruined spaces.
Come and explore the new accommodation hidden within the ruined walls and the new knot garden and find out more about its history through our footpath trails.
Parking on site and leaflets detailing the buildings history will be available.
St Mary's Church and the Reading Rooms will be open on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will be serving light refreshments and on Saturday will have stalls set up selling plants and bric-a-brac.
Event organiser is The Landmark Trust.
