Autumn Adventures at Hardwick Hall
Crunch through golden leaves, splash in muddy puddles and escape into autumn at Hardwick Hall this half term. With plenty of outdoor activities to stumble across on your day out, there’s plenty of fun to be had for all the family!
Half term activities:
• Let the kids blow off steam on our autumn activity trail, finding fun in the sensory mud kitchen and adding their favourite foliage to our leaf bunting around the estate.
• Pickup a Spotter Sheet from Visitor Reception and become a leaf detective or bark artist and join us on a wild goose chase to find the painted animal portraits in the gardens.
• Autumnal crafts on selected days at Stainsby Mill (open Friday- Sunday during half term).
Free family group walks (Booking essential, please visit our events page):
• Stretch your creativity on our special Lady Spencer's Group Walk. Take in the sights, sounds and sensations of the season whilst participating in nature based writing tasks. All ages and abilities welcome! Only available on the 23rd and 30th of October.
• Potter around the ponds collecting nature treasures as you create a journey stick and make some friends on our free Family Pond Group Walk. Only available on the 28th of October.
