Our Open Days are our way of making our heritage and stories as accessible as possible.
Explore the house at your own pace
Come and explore the Manor House and walled gardens. The most prestigious rooms will be open for you to wander through on a free-flow route and see this beautiful place dressed for the festive season and full of Christmas charm.
DiSCOVER A TUDOR CHRISTMAS
There will be expert stewards in each room sharing the remarkable stories of West Horsley Place including how 40 children were evacuated and spend Christmas with Lady Crewe, how Walter Raleigh lost his head and many more!
Costumed Tudor characters will be wandering the historic halls to talk you all about Christmas in the time of Henry VIII, discover what they ate and how they celebrated the season.
“It’s the loveliest, most beautiful and soothing place. ”
