Get into the festive mood with our twilight openings for a special view of the house after dark as all the lights shimmer and sparkle. Enjoy the beautiful historic surroundings and yuletide cheer as Hall Place is decked with boughs of holly, garlands, colourful decorations, and trees as tall as the ceilings. Listen to traditional Christmas music as you explore.
This year’s theme is The Nutcracker, with displays incorporated amongst the room decorations for you to discover. Families can also take part in our Christmas Quest where an additional 12 themed tree decorations have been hidden inside the exhibition spaces. Also there will be a family self-led craft available to create (children will need adult support).
End your visit with a free glass of mulled wine or soft drink around the Christmas Tree on the lawn.
