Mary Queen of Scots has captivated the imagination of people around the world for over 400 years, and continues to do so through cinema and television: preserving the legacy that is Mary Stuart. It tells the history of the iconic Scottish Queen, from her birthplace at Linlithgow, in 1542, to her tragic death at Fotheringhay Castle, in 1587.
Using museum grade glass cabinets, historical artefacts are sympathetically displayed with coloured graphics, creating an atmosphere that enthralls and educates on the success and tragedy of her short life.
