The Waveney Valley Community Archaeology Group is heading back to Zoom for our June meeting, when we welcome back Dr James Wright of Triskele Heritage to talk to us about the work of the medieval stonemason. If you watched any of James’s lockdown lectures or this year’s Medieval Mythbusters series you’ll know that James is an excellent speaker always on top of his subject, so this talk will be well worth signing up for.

Among his long list of clients James can number the National Trust, MOLA, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and many others. Close to home he has also done work for the University of Nottingham on Strangers’ Hall and Bacon’s House in Norwich. James trained as a stonemason earlier in his career and will bring a practical appreciation of the work of the medieval mason to this talk.

Event organiser is Waveney Valley Community Archaeology Group.
