Part of Heritage Open Days 2026
Visit this superb Grade I listed church dating from the 15th century in a beautiful setting adjacent to the 15th century Buckden Palace in this historic village. There will be a unique church tour at 3.00pm on Sunday 20th September 2026.
St. Mary's is usually open during daylight hours and this particular Sunday, 20th September only, our church historian is giving a free guided tour at 3.00pm and revealing some of the hidden treasures not usually visible in the church.
The church is immediately adjacent to the Tudor Buckden Towers, the former Bishops of Lincoln's Palace (which is also open on this HODS day).
