Visit the ground floor of The Weaver’s House and the Tudor Garden to find out about family and working life in the 1540s.

Step back into medieval Coventry with a visit to this restored gem. The Weaver’s House has been lovingly recreated to show how it would have looked in 1540. Experience how John Croke, a Coventry narrow-loom weaver and his family would have lived and worked. At the back of the Weaver’s House is a medieval garden showing the plants that would have been grown for food, flavouring, medicine and household use. The house is very close to the city centre, easily accessible through the subway from medieval Spon Street.
Refreshments available.
Please note the solar (upstairs) room containing the loom is not open during HODs.
