Our Tudor Summer kicks off with a weekend of historical displays with interactive talks and demonstrations. There’s something that the whole family can enjoy, and you might even learn a little something!
On Sunday 30th, join Pastime Historical Dance and learn about the history of court dances and even have a go yourself!
The basics
Suitability: Children welcome
Meeting point: Demonstrations will take place on the North Lawn.
What to bring and wear: All demonstrations will take place outside.
Accessibility: The garden is steep in places with steps and gravel, cobbles and grass pathways - please speak to staff on arrival for the best route for your needs. Disabled parking is available near visitor reception but there is some gravel in areas of the car park. Pushchairs are permitted in all areas of the garden, but please take care. Take care, there are many open water areas around the garden.
