Take a curator led tour around Tudor House to find out about the architecture of our beautiful 16th century timber framed building. There'll be 3 half hour tours scheduled for Saturday 13th September at 10am, 12pm and 2pm and 2 tours on Sunday 14th September at 12pm and 2pm. You'll get to investigate all the nooks and crannies and find out more about Tudor builders, building techniques and special features. This will be an all age tour, suitable for children aged over 7 years old. Children will receive a building investigators tick list to record all the architectural features they spot along the way. You'll see a Tudor embossed plaster ceiling, wattle and daub, a beautiful quatre-foil decorated bressumer beam, a jetty and much more! Our 16th century house does not have a lift and access to the first floor is by stairs only.
